Baswell Guthrie Releases First TV Ad of the Campaign

Huntsville, AL – Republican candidate for Congress, Cheryl Baswell Guthrie announced today the release of her first television ad of the campaign cycle, the first of any candidate in the campaign for the Republican nomination in Alabama's 5th congressional district.

The ad, which began running today on broadcast TV district-wide, defends traditional values such as faith and a belief in the right of individuals to own guns from the offensive comments Democratic Presidential candidate Barack Obama made earlier this month. The television ad joins her radio ads, which have been on the air for three weeks, in promoting the Northern Alabama values Cheryl was raised on and will bring to Congress.
